Thank you so much for this super fun unit! I love ocean themes because wouldn't we all love to be on the beach right now?!??!?! Anyways, I love teaching about the ocean because I have a TON of stuffed animals that I collected from Sea World over the years to put in our reading area. The kids just love reading to their favorite sea animals! Such cuties they are!! :-D Thanks so much for all of your hard work!
Your unit is wonderful! I am teaching a K/1 combination class and am busy creating my own activities so that my firsties don't repeat things from kinder and I don't step on any toes by doing first grade activities. Your units are truly a blessing to me. My students love your ideas and so do I! Thank you times a million!
Love this unit! Amazing as always. I posted about it on my blog: http://ericabohrer.blogspot.com/2011/06/pool-or-beach-acrostic-poems.html Erica Bohrer's First Grade
