Mother's Day Book

TWENTY DAYS UNTIL SUMMER!  But who's counting?  Not me.  20 days.... sigh...smile...YES!!!

I love my little sweeties but I am so ready for days that don't start with an alarm clock!

We've been working on our Mother's Day gift book and I wanted to share some of the pages with you.
So STINKIN'  Cute!  Seriously! I love their pictures and writing.  I hope their mommies will love it too!

When my mom is driving she yells at people.

I love the speech bubble!  GO PEOPLE!

When my mom is driving she smokes a cigarette.

(wow!  that is one big cigarette!)

When my mom is driving she talks on the telephone.

When my mom is driving she listens to the radio.

To relax my mom likes to lay on the trampoline.

To relax my mom likes to lay out in the sun and tan.

(love the bikini!)  Note to self:  Start working out.  Seriously!
Put down the Sonic coke and work out!!!

To relax my mom likes to take a bubble bath.

To relax my mom likes to lay down in the bed.

Lucy's drawing of her mom for the cover.  LOVE it!

  1. Now you made me excited about this mother's day book! I just downloaded it yesterday and have set it up to start the writing process on Monday. Can't wait to read all the funny responses only kids can say. Thanks Deanna.

  4. Deanna,
I must agree with Kelly - "As always, your stuff is aMaZing!"

Was wondering though if the British version (Mum) is no longer available on TpT? I saw it the other day - when I received the TpT link - and now I'm ready to purchase, I can't seem to locate it on your TpT store. =(

  13. Hey Deanna, I love the Mother's Day pictures and the creations of the kids, how cute! I really started laughing so hard when I saw the picture of Maxine below, it made me snicker....But, fluffy grandma's are the BEST and we are not old, we are "seasoned" to perfection....

  14. Deanna,
I downloaded the Mother's Day book you posted last year. I cannot find my oringinal copy of the way the cover looked. I have had the students draw a picture of themselves every month. I purchased your unit you posted but it is different. Can you please download the cover from the book you made first?

  16. I chuckled when I read the honest comments written by your students. The drawings too were precious. As a mother who saved projects like these, I know the parents of your students will have another cherished keepsake!

  18. My teaching partner & I have tried to order your Mother's Day booklet on TPT. However, our computer freezes every time. It's only on this product! We've had no problem with other purchases. We love your Kindergarten stuff! Please advise...
