OMG - I love the black student desks!!! I would love to know how they hold up to little fingers at the end of the year. The color really makes the room look nice because it takes the focus away from having a ton of desks!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for using my clip art & for the shout out (-; You are too sweet!!
I am totally obsessed with your desks - how stinking cute!!!
Have a great 2nd week of Kinder (-; I hope you have a great bunch this year and tons of parent support!!

ReplyDeleteExcited to see your fairy tales unit!
ReplyDeleteThanks again for sharing and inspiring all of us. I'm trying to download/print coloring sheet and Year Long Plan and it takes me to Google Drive without options to download/print. Suggestions?
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I am a huge fan!! You have such great ideas! My questions is how do you fit in all the new Common Core standards into your units? I feel like I have to move away from units?

Actually, There is really no other way to teach with Common Core other than units. The Common Core was written with the intention that Science and Social Studies is integrated with Language Arts. :)
DeleteI agree with you 100% but in our district, they are making us follow the ELA and Math frameworks from the GA DOE- being from GA, I'm sure you have seen these. I do not like them at all. It takes the fun out of teaching because your books and activities are chosen for you; no creativity whatsoever.
DeleteDo you have to use the frameworks from the DOE?
