Penguin Video and FREEBIES

WOW!  This video is so amazing!  This quick video will allow your kids to witness the mother penguin handing the egg over to the father, the long grueling winter and the birth of the baby chick. Did I say AMAZING??!  Tomorrow we are going to do a relay race where the kids have to use their feet to hand off the egg to each other.  Pictures coming soon!

I found your adorable website years ago before I even knew about your blog. I had just started teaching and your ideas helped make my classroom what it is today! Keep on rocking girl, you are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!

  3. We did the same thing today!! :) I show all of March of the Penguins, broken up over the week. We used a plastic Easter egg to pass back & forth. Did you use something bigger that was a more realistic size? It was harder than they thought it would be!

  6. I am amazed at how beautiful you make your anchor charts!! When I make one it is not nearly as pretty and neat as the charts you make. It maybe because I get in a big hurry!! Love all the penguin activities! Last year my students tried to carry a plastic egg on their feet. They loved it!

  9. What a great video!! Before showing the video, I wonder what the students would have thought about the birth and care of a baby penguin and the penguin winter rituals. Adding videos like this makes learning so much fun for students. Thanks for sharing!!
