Cutest Valentine Book EVER!


Oh, my word!  I love books. Better than shoes, better than candy,  better than... well you get the idea!
I have tons and tons of books but I still buy more.  All. the. time.  The UPS guy and my hubby are on a first name basis.  :)  In fact,  if I stop ordering books from Amazon our local UPS will probably have to lay off half of their workers.  Seriously!  Anywhoo.... I just had to share this adorable book that my daughter found.
I read it to my littles today and they LOVED it.  Like the I had to read it at least five times kind of love!   Leon made a Valentine Heart for his one true love, Zoey Maloney.  But... the Valentine Heart ran away.  Will Leon be able to get the Valentine back in time to give it to Zoey?    You can click on the picture below to check it on Amazon.

After we read the book we made our own Valentine hearts like the ones in the book and wrote the story map on the back.

  5. *sigh* if only I had this book for tomorrow. I will have to add it to my collection for next year. By the way, I love Sonic but can only get it on long road trips (I don't live close to any Sonics). Cherry Limeaide...mmmm....

  6. I am right there with you girl... I order books from Amazon PRETTY much every other day (You've got to love Amazon Prime!!). The UPS man definitely thinks I'm nuts.

    Another great book going onto my wish list!

    Also, for me, picture books and a CAN of coke are neck in neck for all time favorites. Looove that crisp taste!

Thanks for all you share! :) PS-when you say "Coke" do you mean a regular can of Coke or a different kind of soda. I am from MN so we call it "pop". I know in the south you call ALL pop "coke"!   10. I love this! And your little heart guys are adorable! The people in our condo building probably think I'm nuts... There's literally an Amazon box in our entryway more days than not. :)

    We don't have Sonics around here, so my fix is a Diet Coke from McDonald's, or even better - a Diet CHERRY Coke (angels singing) from a Cooke Freestyle machine. (Definitely on my wishlist if I win the lotto!)

  11. I love it. Im addicted to Amazon as well and between me and my mom, we have enough children's books to supply a school library. I just shared my favorite Valentine book as well on my blog. I LOVE SPLAT! Didn't know if you have read, "Love, Splat". My kids love it too.

  28. I have a special place in my heart for first grade because I taught that grade for 6 years. I like your large hanging sight words. What a neat idea! I came across TPT a few years ago but I just passed it right on by. Then last year I saw an interview you did on TV and that inspired me to give it a try.
